On the 22nd of October I eagerly watched one of my favourite shows currently on BBC2, QI, this episode was all about The Incomprehensible, with Brian Cox, Sue Perkins and Ross Noble, all very funny chaps and chapesses. Then one Ross brought the question which moon would the Ewoks most likely be on in our solar system (Brian said Titan), I grew tense, knowing how people regarded these fellows. However no derileing occurred and the show moved on, then this happened.

It was funny and light-hearted now that I watch it sober and not defocused by the lack of sleep but I was so bored and angry afterwards I wrote to the BBC complaints via their website and well, this is what I wrote:
"I was shocked, appalled, and disgusted by the vile comments by the so called 'comedian' Ross Noble in regards to the Ewok species. I would have thought that in this day and age of tolerance and understanding prejudices against various alien species would have been consigned to history, if not oblivion. However for Mr Noble that does not appear to be the case, and whilst his complacently racist co-guests laughed at his 'hilarious' comments about 'Throwing Ewoks into a lake of farts' I certainly wasn't, conversely I was insulted. For too long the race of Ewok has had to endure under the yolk of ridicule, scorn, and even outright hatred, simply for the 'crime' of defeating a battle-force of soldiers who cannot hit young adults 10 feet away from them in a corridor.
It may also be prudent to say that Mr Noble is clandestinely harbouring affection for the Ewoks, for he says the phrase "Ee chee wa maa", which is Ewokese for 'wow' or 'oh my goodness'. Seeing that the phrase is not mentioned in the film Return Of The Jedi he would have to have discovered this phrase in the Star Wars Expanded Universe, which would thus mean he bothered to research the Ewoks. Therefore one can conclude that Ross Noble is either a very sad obsessed racist, which to his credit I doubt he is, or as I said earlier he actually likes the Ewoks. Regardless of what he thinks I demand that he apologises for his slanderous comments which ruined one of my favourite BBC 2 shows."
To further complicate matters I decided that I would like a response to my comments and a few days later this is what I got.

So it all ended well and I will live comfortable in the knowledge that people bother to read complaints at the BBC.
